Purpose of the job: To verify accuracy of the IQ system in reflecting the actual stock on the shop floor. Matric/Grade 12. Min. 2 years stock control experience ESSENTIAL in fmcg environment. Relevant Hardware Retail training course (advantageous). Knowledge of IQ system an advantage. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently. Disciplined and methodical.

Key Responsibilities: Adhere to the perpetual stock counting schedule. Compile schedule of items where actual stock differs from theoretical stock. Conduct ad hoc counts on stock where shrinkage identified. Identify non-scanning items and report. Check that shelf edge label corresponds with product on the shelf.
