Surveyor Required, Other, Cape Town. Company Name: Bruwer Surveyors. We are a small surveying company situated in Durbanville. It would be beneficial for the successful candidate to reside close by.

Starting Date: Full-time (7am – 5pm) Monday to Friday February/March

Salary: Will be discussed in the interview.

We are looking for a qualified Land Surveyor to help prepare sketches, maps and reports of legal descriptions of surveys. We require someone who has great analytical and mathematical skills, a keen eye for detail and great communication skills.

Your basic responsibilities will also include: Verifying data and calculations. Recording results of surveys. Calculating the measurements of sites. Writing descriptions of property boundaries. Researching legal documents, survey records, and land titles to clarify information about property boundaries. Draughting of topographical survey plans using drawing programmes such as CADDIE.

The requirements we will need: Degree/Diploma in surveying. Good numeracy skills and the ability to make mathematical calculations. Logical thinking skills. Problem solving and analytical skills. A keen eye for detail. Organizational skills. Good memory. Fluent in English and Afrikaans language.
