Massage Therapist – Hermanus, Other Eastern Cape, Eastern Cape. Company Name: Career Custodians. A Beachfront Hotel in the vibrant neighbourhood of Hermanus is looking to recruit a passionate Massage Therapist for their in-house Salon.

Minimum Requirements Qualification: Grade 12 or Equivalent, Beauty Therapy Diploma from CIDESCO, SAAHSP, and/or ITEC. 3 year qualification in the Spa/Beauty industry.

Experience: Familiar with the duties and procedures within a Spa/Wellness Centre. Basic experience in massage, facials, waxing, manicure, pedicure, and spa-specific therapies.

Duties And Responsibilities: Familiar with all treatment protocols. Clear understanding of all Mint Spa related products. Ensure that all services offered by Mint Wellness are delivered to the highest standard. Show interest to learn about skin analysis and how to give advice about skin and body care. Show interest in treatment and product training. Give expert advice about products carried in Mint Spas. Build and maintain client relationships and communicate with clients on a regular basis to inform them about specials and anything else that might interest them and maintain client records with a confidential and effective system.

Upsell products and service Develop a mindful culture within yourself and within the team. Attend all training sessions. Working alongside other senior therapists and /or Wellness Experts for career and skill development. Maintain a high standard of spa hygiene on a daily basis. Deep clean of treatment rooms done monthly. Keep up to date on trends. Be back-up for other therapists if required.
