Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Work Setting: Custom machine shop

Type of Repetitive Machining Operation Experience: Grinding
Specific Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations, Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Manual dexterity, Attention to detail
Work Site Environment: Noisy
Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Communication
Other Information:Candidate must have experience operating a cylindrical grinding machine in a machine shop environment
