Draughtsman – Intermediate, Pinetown, West Suburbs. Company Name: New Identity. Shopfitting company manufacturing metal and timber products looking to employ a Draughtman to add to our team.

The ideal candidate needs to have the following Attributes: Computer literate in MS Office programmes. Experience with Cad Drawings and Progams being SolidWorks, Sketch Up and AutoCAD. Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities. Good communication skills both written and verbal. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Duties: Translating conceptual designs into 2D-3D, working technical drawings. Produce detailed drawings for fabrication/manufacturing. Preparing plate nesting diagrams for CNC cutting (Fibre laser cutter). Preparation of cutting lists for the metal and timber department. Establishing a bill of materials and submitting it to the relevant departments for ordering/drawing of stock. Maintaining drawing data base. Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication/shopfitting environment would an advantage. Salary is negotiable based on experience.
