Health and Safety Officer (Safety Officer - Construction)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day
Salary: $55,000.00 to $60,000.00 Yearly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Baker Lake, Nunavut (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not applicable, Not required
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Type of Inspection and Investigation: Workplace, Work related accidents
Specific Skills: Inspect workplaces for safety or health hazards
Additional Skills: Provide information to employers, employees and general public
Transportation/Travel Information: Vehicle supplied by employer, Travel expenses paid by employer
Work Location Information: Remote location, Willing to relocate, Relocation costs covered by employer
