MukiBaum Treatment Centres, a community based social service agency providing quality treatment to adults and children with developmental disabilities and emotional disorders, is currently seeking an enthusiastic, creative and caring individual to join our multi disciplinary team as Occupational Therapist Supervisor.

A talented, proactive and creative leader, you will be part of a team of Occupational Therapists who supervise direct care staff in implementation of treatment plans. As a personable and caring individual, you will be responsible for the provision of assessments and treatment interventions of person-centered goals which cover a wide array of skills, social skills, life skills (ADLs and IADLs). The Occupational Therapist Supervisor will provide individual and group treatment to children and adults, support and supervise direct care staff in the development and implementation of treatment plans in the day programs, residential programs and in the community.

Capable of communicating effectively you will have the following qualifications;-

•Degree in Occupational Therapy
•Registration with College of Occupational Therapist of Ontario
•Well developed skills in leadership, communication, facilitation, problem solving, time management and team building
•Knowledge of programming and of quality assurance measures
•Experience working with individual with developmental disabilities and psychiatric disorder, autism and other developmental disabilities an asset
•Knowledge in sensory therapy including integration therapy also an asset
