Engineering Inspection Company is looking for strong willed Telesales Rep to generate new and existing business. This is a 3 month fixed term contract, to be reviewed after the 3 month period, with the possibility of a permanent role. The position is based in Craighall Park. Salary on offer is R10000 per month + Comm.

Areas of Responsibility (Your duties will include but are not limited to) Sales, Contact potential and existing customers to inform them about a product or service. Asses, interpret client requirements. Prepare and send quotes to potential customers. Answer questions about products and the company. Ask questions to understand customer requirements and for the purpose of closing sales

Direct prospects to the technical sales team when necessary. Place and process orders in an accurate manner. Ensure that you are well trained in the use of the company CRM to assist client/s. Have suitable/extensive knowledge services. Enter and update customer information in the CRM/database. Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information

Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales. Support department managers and co employees. Actively participate as a member of the team. Performing any other task, not specified herein, which from time to time may be assigned by the manager.

Knowledge/Skills/educational Background: Minimum of Grade 12. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand Afrikaans & English. Proven experience as telesales representative or other sales/customer service role. Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone. Good knowledge of relevant computer programs and telephone systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection. Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints. Operational Agility. Ensure Vision, Mission and Values underpin all activities.
