The restaurant is located in Equestria, PTA East and has just recently undergone a huge facelift in line with the owners vision of creating an upmarket lounge where pleasure meet leisure and friends create lasting memories.

Requirements: Relevant degree/diploma in hospitality industry

At least 3 years previous restaurant experience of which 1 year should be at manager or supervisor level, Business mind. Interpersonal skills. Prior work as a manager or supervisor essential, Success with customer service, Training in food safety. Experience with long shifts. Financial literacy. Ability to keep inventory organized. Driver’s licence a must and not negotiable.

The duties that you are expected to perform are as follows: Responsible for overseeing the efficient running and profitability of restaurant and for managing the employees, recruiting, training and supervising staff, agreeing and managing budgets, planning menus, ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines, promoting and marketing the business.

Overseeing stock levels- Daily stock counts a must.( all stock losses will be recovered from you should you fail to recover the loss from the employee responsible for the loss, ordering from  supplies- no shortages should be experienced, producing staff rosters, handling customer enquiries and complaints, taking reservations, greeting and advising customers, problem solving, preparing and presenting staffing/sales reports, keeping statistical and financial records, assessing and improving profitability, setting targets, handling administration and paperwork, liaising with customers, employees, suppliers, licensing authorities and sales representatives.

Making improvements to the running of the business and developing the restaurant. Ensure communication of all major decisions to the owners at all times. Ensure the shop is clean at all times. Any other lawful duties as assigned by the employer.
