Flat Roofer (with torch-down experience)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day
Salary: $24.00 to $30.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Bonus, Other Benefits, As per collective agreement
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Roofer Trade Certification, WHMIS Certificate, Propane in Construction Record of Training, Rooftop Safety Training
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Major Work Area: Construction, Re-roofing, Repairs
Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Commercial, Institutional, Industrial, Residential
Area of Specialization: Conventional and inverted built-up systems, Modified roofing systems, Single ply sheet membrane roofing systems, Skylights
Specific Skills: Install sheet metal flashings, Repair or replace roofing systems, Inspect re-roofing, Maintain motors, pumps and power equipment
Additional Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications, Instruct apprentices, Supervise other workers
Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Safety equipment/gear, Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat, Safety glasses/goggles, Safety harness
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Physically demanding
