Web Designer
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day
Salary: $27,000.00 to $30,000.00 Yearly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Orillia, Ontario (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
Experience: Experience an asset
Work Setting: Internet Service Provider (ISP)
Specific Skills: Consult with clients to develop and document web site requirements, Prepare mock-ups and storyboards, Source, select and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout and flow of the web site, Create and optimize content for web site using a variety of graphics, database, animation and other software, Lead and co-ordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop web site graphics, content, capacity and interactivity
Programming Languages: ASP, HTML, PHP
Applications: Adobe Photoshop, Flash
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation
Essential Skills: Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Job task planning and organizing
Other Information:Applicants should have experience with Wordpress and Joomla. Client interaction required. A sample of previous work should be submitted.
