Assistant General Manager, Bedfordview, East Rand. A ground-breaking soon to be opened cocktail/cigar lounge in Bedfordview is seeking a dynamic and experienced restaurant manager to join the current team in the capacity of Assistant GM.

Your duties would encompass the following. Everyday Front of House Managent and CRM. Overseeing of overall restaurant operations. Involvement in costing and GP calculations. Stock control procedures. Training of staff.  Scheduling of staff in accordance to prescribed budgets. Overseeing of shop Hygiene standards and cleanliness. Ordering of Equipment and smalls. Liaising with department managers in ordering stock. Making sure invoices are escalated to finance department for payments.

Reporting to the GM and Directors. Drawing up of financial and inventory reports. Cash up procedures. Giving input into the strategic growth of the business. Candidate should have previous experience in restaurant management and operations coupled with an in depth knowledge of spirits, cocktails and wines. Market competitive salary offered.
