The warehouse helper works as a support to a warehouse officer. He ensures that incoming items are received according to the company’s protocols. They are also responsible for ensuring that the warehouse is kept orderly and clean and that materials in a warehouse are adequately secured.

Assist warehouse officer unloading vehicles

Check-in materials and match purchase orders with received items.

Record the number of materials received

Move items from the receiving pallet to storage areas using forklifts or trolleys.

Ensure that items are appropriately stored

Maintain inventory of items in the warehouse

Adheres to all HSEQ, Finance and Compliance policies and procedures

Skills and Personal Attributes Possess relevant skills

Strong team player, self motivated, highly organized
