Must have 5 yrs' experience in a similar role. Must have knowledge and skills and be competent in the following. Must be able to bake biscuits and confectionery. Must be able to prepare and bake specialized cakes. Knowledge of sugar craft, and gluten-free baking. Knowledge of baking Italian bread, and rolls. Knowledge of weighing flour and other ingredients to prepare the dough. Ability to multi-task. Ability to train and develop team members. Must be able to work flexible shifts.

Must have own transport. Must have a valid South African id. Must have valid traceable references. Must have good oral and written communication skills. This position is for an upmarket family restaurant situated at Umhlanga.
