Security Guard (On-Call Responder)
Terms of Employment: Casual, Part Time, On Call, Weekend, Day, Night, Evening
Salary: $23.00 to $24.00 Hourly for 4 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Liverpool, Nova Scotia (2 vacancies )
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Not required
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate
Experience: Will train
Specific Skills: Enforce regulations of establishments, Resolve conflict situations, Maintain order, Use telecommunications (i.e. two-way radio, cell phone, pager), Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures, Monitor security television, Operate security control room equipment, Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed, Respond to alarms, bomb threats and other emergencies, Detect or prevent thefts and vandalism, Write reports, Appear in court as witness
Own Tools/Equipment: Cellular phone
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Own vehicle, Willing to travel, Valid driver's licence
