Portfolio Manager - Residential rentals, Milnerton, Northern Suburbs. Company Name: Choice Letting. We are looking for a dynamic, and experienced person to take up this exciting opportunity in our company in the Rental Property market. The role includes managing a portfolio of rental properties and tenancies, dealing with contractors, landlords, and tenants, and various administrative office tasks.

The ideal candidate should be very well organized, be a good communicator, have a passion for property, and be a self-starter. Must be able to take command of the position and handle the pressure associated with it. You will work closely with the Principal and our Rental Agent, so you must be able to work in a small team.

Roles & Responsibilities: Negotiating & Processing tenancy renewals. Booking inventories – inspections. Instructing and managing various contractors. Communicating with tenants advising them of their responsibilities at the start and end of the tenancy. Advising Tenant of works to be undertaken. Keeping records of all tenancies and works on each deal and property. Assisting with general office administration tasks. Rental collections. Processing of invoices and quotes. Handling of Housing tribunal cases when required.

Candidate Specifications: Self-starter. Computer competency (Word, Excel, Outlook, TPN & Pastel). Good phone manners and be well-spoken. Good communication, negotiation, and people skills. Passion for people and property. Be very well organized and structure workload. Be a good leader. Good Problem solver. Nonsmokers.
