Bookkeeper position available, Durbanville, Northern Suburbs. Company Name: Exactitude Accounting CC. A home-based accounting and consulting company is looking to employ a bookkeeper with Sage Pastel and e-filing capabilities.

Your core competencies must include Sage Pastel, including multi-currency and BIC reports. Able to administer a simple payroll of 20-odd staff (VIP or Pastel package). Proficient in e-filing of monthly, bi-annual, and annual returns, including PAYE, Workmen Compensation, UIF, Vat, and Provisional tax. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel. General office IT maintenance, including connectivity, printers, and the like.

The position is suited to someone with the following attributes: A self-starter able to work under minimal supervision; Attention to detail and accuracy. A minimum of 5 years in a similar role. Having served articles at a small/medium auditing firm will be a distinct advantage. Ability to go the extra mile and embrace any challenge or request fielded by clients. Currently, the position is part/flexi-time but is expected to expand once the economy returns to normal. Consequently, we envisage starting on a mutually acceptable all-inclusive hourly rate until we reach capacity.
