Food service supervisor (Supervisor/Worker for Take Out and Fish Retail)
Terms of Employment: Seasonal, Full Time, Shift, Weekend, Day, Evening
Salary: $12.00 to $14.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: 2014/05/01
Location: Abrams Village, Prince Edward Island (1 vacancy)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
Experience: Experience an asset
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Work Setting: Food service establishment
Supervisory Experience: Food service counter attendants and food preparers, Cooks
Specific Skills: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, Establish work schedule, Estimate and order ingredients and supplies, Ensure food service and quality control, Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
Additional Skills: Establish methods to meet work schedules, Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, Hire food service staff
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilites: Work under pressure, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence
Ability to Supervise: 5-10 people
Essential Skills: Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Decision making, Job task planning and organizing, Continuous learning
