To be successful in this position, you will need to be able to work on multiple projects at once and finish your job in a timely matter. In doing this, you will work in collaboration with the Design Consultants and Engineers to ensure that the drawings are created to the highest possible standards of quality and conform to defined Project Revit Standards.

Responsibilities: Work closely with Design Leads to ensure the project’s compliance with the given policies and processes and to ensure timely implementation and completion

Works with Design Leads and Engineers to develop engineering drawings consisting of basic arrangements, layouts, component details from rough sketches and general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures, and to ensure timely implementation and completion

Understand BIM modeling process and able to manage all BIM related activities from project start-up to project completion

Adhere to BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria.

Review each drawing for readability, presentation, and adherence to standards, by the company QA/QC process

Good knowledge in content creation and ability to create different types of parametric and non-parametric families

Strong knowledge in LOD requirements

Collaborate and communicate with other disciplines on coordination issues and model development tasks

Good knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks, with experience of clash detection and producing clash report

Able to produce scheduling and quantity extraction from the model

Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate

Requirements: Diploma or degree in ELECTRICAL engineering

Minimum 5+ years of UAE BIM drafting experience in ELECTRICAL projects

Software Experience Required

REVIT, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Common Data Environment, ProjectWise, BIM360. Good knowledge in BIM, understanding LOD requirements and BIM processes

Ability to communicate clearly in English.
