Financial Planner, City Centre, Cape Town.
Job Summary: To assist financial advisors in the structuring of financial proposals. Analyse products and services that is appropriate to structure equitable financial proposals for financial client. Clients will be given to the successful candidate.
Key areas of responsibility: Duties include but not limited to Assist with the coordination and implementation of the financial planning processes and procedures. Manage all aspects relating to financial planning and advisory services including structuring new business proposals. Provide support in the development and implementation of new products, systems and services.
Undertake highly technical analytical work. Propose solutions and draft financial recommendations that each clients’ goals, needs and objectives. Develop productive working relationships with colleagues and clients throughout the financial services environment, both within and outside of the organisation. Keep up to date with industry product development.
Qualifications, experience and formal education: Bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning, CFP, Regulatory Exam (completed), 3 years wealth management/financial environment, Critical competencies and knowledge. Microsoft office, advanced skills. Morningstar Direct. Advanced communication skills. Understand financial services and products. Understand financial planning and tax environment (investment, retirement and estate planning).
SALARY: R14 000 to R18 000 basic plus 50% commission
