Experience: 5 years or more
Type of Heavy Equipment Operated: Backhoe excavator, loader, Front end loader
Type of Work Experience: Fine grading and finishing, Backfilling, Demolition, Ditching, Excavating, Rough grading, Trenching, Snow removal
Work Setting / Industry Experience: Road construction, Residential construction, Industrial/commercial/institutional (ICI) construction
Specific Skills: Operate heavy equipment, Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks, Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment, Perform minor repairs to equipment
Additional Skills: Utilize material safety data sheets (MSDS), Complete onboard and other logs
Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract)
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence
Other Information:Driver's abstract required. Experience in various jobs: water & sewer, electrical, gas, commercial grade beams, concrete jack hammering & removal, backfill & compaction. Safety oriented. 40-60hrs./wk.
