Responsibilities: Plan and implement OHS policies and programs. Advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics.Review, update existing policies and procedures

Implement and maintain health and safety standards. Establish a cordial and professional relationship with employees.

Maintain compliance with all safety regulations. Conduct regular staff meetings to share best practice techniques.

Conduct risk assessment Promote safety initiatives. Compile and maintain relevant registers to ensure compliance.

Enforce preventative measures Adhere to all the rules and regulations. Work with HR to set up a new employee on-boarding process for safety

Identify process bottlenecks and offer timely solutions. Check if all the employees are acting in adherence with rules and regulations

Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes

Oversee workplace repair, installations and any other work that could harm employees' safety

Document staff information, minutes of meetings, and reports compiled for management.

Regularly inspect equipment. Safety Officer Requirements. Valid competency certificates. Registration as a Health and Safety Officer.

Strong communication skills. Minimum of 3 years experience in this position. Proficient in all Microsoft Applications. Excellent knowledge of legislations and procedures

Excellent knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices. 2 years of experience in producing reports. Experience with writing policies and procedures for health and safety

Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics. Working knowledge of safety management information system
