Fabrication Welder (TIG)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Weekend, Day
Salary: $25.00 to $32.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Not required
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Welder Trade Certification, Not required
Experience: 5 years or more
Major Work Area: Construction, Maintenance/repair, New fabrication
Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Manufacturing, Industrial
Area of Specialization: Custom fabrication, Machinery or equipment repair, Factory assembly, Fencing, balconies, stairs and railings
Welding Techniques: Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG)
Materials: Stainless steel
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Specific Skills: Interpret welding process specifications, Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines
Additional Skills: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes, Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
Security and Safety: Bondable
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation
