We are presently recruiting Aluminium Casting Operators to join our dynamic team.

Duties:
 Setups and operates tilt pours to cast aluminium parts
 Follow casting work package procedures
 Operates and monitors foundry furnaces used to melt aluminium
 Hand ladle molten aluminum into molds
 Removes aluminium castings from molds
 Visually inspects castings for non-conformance to ensure quality
 Reports any issues that effect equipment or production to supervisor
 Finishing of casting through saw cutting and sanding procedures for gate & riser removal
 Complete production documentation
 Clean work areas and equipment
 Support Standard Manufacturers Services Ltd’s initiatives
Working Conditions/ Physical Capabilities:
 Shift 4 days a week 10 ½ hours a day (Days or Afternoons)
 ½ hour of unpaid time for lunch
 Repetitive tasks
 Handling heavy loads up to 50 pounds
 Physically demanding
 Manual dexterity
 Attention to detail
 Hand-eye co-ordination
 Standing for extended periods
 Must be able to work as part of a team.
Employment Requirements:
 High School preferred but not required
 Good understanding of the English language both verbal and written
 On the job training is provided
