Financial Consultant - Corporate Tax

We currently have a unique opportunity for a bright, focused and self-motivated Financial Consultant to join our team of high caliber professionals. The individual in this role has the ability to make a significant contribution to the company?s revenue in this multifaceted role.
TASKS
Defending SR&ED applications through CRA review by liaising with internal and external clients and accountants.
Manage quality and volume of team deliverables through regular meetings and reporting on key metrics to ensure meeting weekly/monthly targets.
Consult with all clients when issues are escalated and assist with roadblocks in the review process.
Liaise with CRA during preparation and financial audit process.
Understand thoroughly the SR&ED income tax requirements.
Prepare defence and justification of costs.
Attending audits at client sites.
REQUIREMENTS
Canadian accounting designation is required
5+ years of work experience in corporate tax managing and completing tax returns for small ? medium sized clients.
Strong negotiations skills and persuasive personality.
Knowledge of all financial aspect of SR&ED claims including costing, form preparation and review process is a strong asset
Advanced Excel skills including experience using complex formulas, macros, linking spreadsheets, Vlookups, etc.
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and simultaneously work on multiple projects
