Overview The role is for a franchised coffeeshop that is based in Waterfall, Midrand. This role will need to have strong people and communication skills. This person must have the ability to be assertive with staff to ensure we provide customers with excellent quality and service.

Key responsibilities Provide managerial oversight on the operations of the coffee shop both at front of house and back of house. Ensure excellent levels of customer service are maintained by all staff. Provide oversight and guidance on ordering of stock for the store. Manage debtors accounts on a monthly basis. Manage staff (Front of house and back of house). Create and maintain monthly rosters. Ensure all orders go out timeously and according to specifications.

Daily activities include but not limited to: Stock count of the front of store. Clock cashiers in. Check against the roster if all staff are at work. Issue stock. Check weekly booklet if oil must be changed. Do an oil dip check and fill in the results on your oil check form in the weekly booklet

Measure the temperature of the fridge and freezer. Lock away all cash on hand received from cashiers and sign for the money in yours and the cashiers’ banking books after checking the cash up.
