Butchery Manager, Johannesburg South, Johannesburg. Company Name: RecruitRite. My client, well-respected retail and wholesale meat company is looking for a Branch Manager for their City Deep Store. The person they appoint will oversee the retail side of the operation + a new initiative they are working on, (Fish production/packing plant).

Requirements: Must have retail experience, preferably in cold store and refrigeration, and preferably in a stand-alone Butchery. Own transport is a must. Ability to work a 10-hour shift. Clean criminal record. Rotational weekend shifts. Leadership/management skills, Assertive. Able to work at pace, unattended, and “own the branch” ie income statement/profit and loss account.

Work under pressure in a tough environment. Salary is pegged at around R 30k negotiable.
