Quality Assurance Controller - Food Technologist, Muizenberg, Southern Peninsula. A Food Manufacturer requires the above to be responsible for all Quality Assurance Management duties in the plant. The candidate will be responsible for Personal hygiene and general hygiene checks. Equipment calibration control (eg: scales, refrigerator, and freezers). Retention sample records. Receiving and inspection of incoming Raw materials.

On-line QC checks; Final product checks. Attend to customer complaints and corrective action reports. Ensure traceability and administrative checks are maintained. Understanding auditing processes and practices in the food industry. Completion of product specifications, COA’s, Updating food safety documents, documenting/recording information.

The minimum requirement for the role: National Diploma/B-tech in Food Technology or related degree. Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience. Time management, good people interactive skills, Self-motivated, ability to work under pressure. Must be able to work in a team. Proficient computer skills (Word and Excel). Location: Cape Town.
