Automotive Mechanic (Good Diagnostic Skills Required)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Day

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification, HVAC Certificate
Experience: 5 years or more
Type of Experience: Automobiles, Trucks
Area of Specialization: Front-end components, Electrical and electronic systems, Diagnostics, Brake systems, Fuel and emission systems, Ignition and electrical systems, AC, cooling and heating systems, Drive train components
Automotive Service Technician Specific Skills: Road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and components, Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems, Perform scheduled maintenance service
Mechanical Repairer Specific Skills: Repair and replace mechanical units
Additional Skills: Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor, Coach and instruct apprentices
Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Valid driver's licence
Essential Skills: Reading text, Critical thinking
Languages: English
