Bookkeeper, Tax Practitioner or Senior Tax Clerk – George, Eden

Requirements: Grade 12. Knowledge of Greatsoft is a big bonus. Knowledge of E-filing. Pastel experience. Must be proficient in Excel.

Previous Tax experience, and thorough knowledge of: Corporate, Individual taxes, Dealing with SARS, Objections etc.

Responsibility: Administration of the firm's tax department including, but not limited to Completing and submission of tax returns for: Individuals, Trusts, Companies, Dealing with tax queries (SARS).

Registrations: Income Tax, PAYE, VAT EMP 201 returns, Export EMP501- reconciliations, Dealing with applications for tax clearance. Provisional tax calculations. Compilation of financial statements.

Implementing financial controls on all: Assets, Income streams, Expenses, Preparation of management accounts. Processing and calculation of Month End Journals. Processing books  to Trial Balance & Balance Sheet. Training  junior staff

Salary: R 16 000 – R 20 000
