Customer Service and Returns Supervisor, Woodmead, Johannesburg. Duties include but are not limited to receiving and placing telephone calls. Maintaining solid customer relationships by handling their questions, and concerns with speed and professionalism. Excellent communication abilities are essential. Additional duties include proactive communication with customers and clients via telephone, e-mail, or regular mail; managing database records; drafting status reports on customer service issues.  Performs data entries and uses software programs, and follows up on Returns and Customer Orders.

Key Responsibilities: Answer telephone calls. Audit and follow up on returns queries on a daily basis. Receives Failure Delivery Report from the courier and follows up on failure reason and attempts re-delivery of consignments. Follow up on collections twice weekly. Assist in Checking in goods from couriers/drivers. Assist in Assessing returned products and fully record all information to assist debtors department with credit function. Assist in Ensuring faulty/damaged stock is properly stripped of packaging or good parts and disposed of.

Respond and take action to customer concerns/queries. Communicate successes, issues, and solutions to the Service Supervisor / Manager. Log Collections on Value Website and forward the information/tracking numbers to clients and Management. Assist in Managing agents and ensure all customer queries are resolved within the given time period. Demonstrates and acts in accordance with Stingray Manufacturing Values and Behaviours (as it appears in the contract of employment). Maintains an efficient, service-friendly environment.

Field calls and assists customers by logging service calls, resolving queries and general inquiries. Handle client problems, answer general queries and complaints. Responsible for developing a working knowledge of company products, operation of products, and troubleshooting problems with products. Energizes and motivates team through positive reinforcement of Friendly, Available, and Quick Customer Service Standards while executing customer service tasks.
