Glass and Aluminum Fitter Job, Overstrand, Glass Industry. Betty's Bay, Overberg. Glass and Alluminium company in the Overstrand are looking for a competent and experienced FITTER. To establish and monitor work standards the company will offer a month-to-month contract to start with.  Should work be up to standard and of high quality the possibility of a permanent position will be discussed. 

The Fitter will be required to work from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday and 8am to 2pm on Saturdays when required.  Work will mainly be in the Rooi Els, Pringle Bay, Betties Bay and Kleinmond areas and it is therefore imperative that the Fitter have a valid driver’s license and be a good and responsible driver. 

We are seeking a well-spoken, competent and hard-working individual who will be able to work well with a team and independently with little supervision. Someone that can be given a task and complete it in the time provided.   

Requirements: At least 3 years’ experience as a Glass and Alluminium fitter. Experience working in large residential projects. Well spoken; must be fluent in English, fluency in Afrikaans would be an added advantage. Applicants should have a solid track record and good references. Must have a valid driver’s license. Good understanding of construction, equipment and Occupation Safety and Health Act (ASH) guidelines.

Attention to detail: Ability to communicate and report effectively. Quick thinker and solution driven. Problem-solving abilities. Can do attitude. Salary negotiable depending on level of experience. Start date to be discussed.
