Financial Planning Assistant/Paraplanner (Bellville), Bellville, Northern Suburbs. My client, a well-established Sanlam BlueStar Financial Services business based in Bellville needs the services of this person to support the Financial Advisor with the offering of personalized advice and a broad range of financial solutions to clients.

Core functions include Research and preparation of documents for the review of client's insurance and investment portfolios. Prepare review reports for the Financial Advisor for his appointments with clients. Ensure compliance with FICA and FAIS legislation. Recording of client interaction and updating of client records upon completion and interaction. Ensure all business registers and files are kept up to date and current.

Job Requirements: Minimum of 3 years experience in a relevant financial services environment (especially long-term insurance) and particularly if you have worked in a Financial or Insurance Brokerage environment.

Matric, A post-matric qualification and/or having passed the Regulatory Examination or studying towards obtaining this qualification will be advantageous. Working knowledge of Sanfin will also strengthen your application. Ability to communicate with clients in both English and Afrikaans. Ability to work accurately and independently without direct supervision and to deal with more than one issue simultaneously. Salary R10000/month negotiable plus an additional incentive based on new business issued. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8h00 till 16h30 and the successful applicant will join a small professional team.
