National Risk Manager, East London, Eastern Cape. NATIONAL RISK MANAGER – This position will be based in East London. Extensive travel will be required nationwide. The position will report directly to the Financial Manager and Manage the Risk team. This position is available immediately and the purpose of the role is to proactively manage risk within the Company.

Requirements: Matric/Grade 12. Minimum requirement Bcom degree (Preferred). Retail Operations qualification will be an advantage. Minimum 5 – 8 years experience in a similar capacity as an Operations Manager in a clothing retail environment. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook.

Valid Driver’s License and own vehicle. Competencies. Ability to work independently but also manage a team. Methodical/Practical. Analytical thinking. Big picture orientated. Assertive & Decisive. Attention to detail. Strong character. Honest/Reliable. Solid numerical and analytical skills. Ability to implement new initiatives and control measures within the business.

Key Accountabilities: Internal Audit. Loss prevention, Personnel, Identify Risk and evaluate controls, Undertakings, MIE, Credit Check, Criminal check, Fraud check, Qualification verification, Psychometric Assessment.

Salary: Highly negotiable (depending on experience and qualifications); Company pool vehicle, Cellphone, Laptop & 3G.
