Main duties and Responsibilities: Clean all floors, skirting boards, and glass panels. Clean lockers, clean marks off walls, light switches, sockets, etc. Dust surfaces and clean windows within reach. Clean all toilets and showers and changing rooms, including tissue, hand towels, and soap. Empty all bins. Work with minimum disturbance to building users, placing safety notices or informing people if likely to be any danger (wet floors, trailing cables, hazardous cleaning materials, etc.).

Report any Health & Safety matters and/or damage or repair issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor and/or Gym Manager. General Inform Gym Manager when running low on cleaning supplies and to collect replacement items as needed. Ensure equipment is safe for appropriate use and report if in need of repair/replacement. Work as a member of the team and provide support as required to colleagues; participate in team meetings and training provided; wear uniform/protective clothing and staff badge as supplied.

To attend Housekeeping team meetings once a month. Attend all relevant training and development programs. Undertake other reasonable duties at the request of the housekeeping Supervisor. Be aware of confidentiality issues and not get into situations where you may receive information that cannot be passed on. Respect and uphold the values of Smart Gyms.

Duties are generally prescribed, although the post holder may determine in which order some tasks may be undertaken.
