Duties Qualification: Matric, Certificate in Draughting - an advantage. N Diploma or B Tech (Civil or Mechanical) may be appropriate – if the focus of experience has been on draughting.

Experience: Min of 4 years of civil drafting experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a prerequisite for this role, Water Mate is essential. Min of 4 years of Piping design draughting experience, civil drawings - utilizing design software integration of water mate and Auto Cad and Civil 3D for water infrastructure (Bulk and reticulation)

Requirements: Experience in Civil engineering services environment. Experience on large projects an advantage – over R10 million. Must be flexible to work overtime if required.

Duties and Responsibilities: Design and Draughting. Multi-Discipline Design Co-ordination Integration. Ensure that the designs and drawings are practical and cost-effective for application – fit for purpose - in construction. Produce mechanical/civil drawings for an issue to the workshop and engineering contractors.

Collation of data and incorporate it into civil drawings, schematics, and maps. Consult with architects, engineers, and surveyors. Maintain Drawing register. Taking off quantities of services relating to water, sewer, and stormwater projects.
