Quantity Surveyor (Estimator Required), East London, Eastern Cape. A medium sized construction is seeking to employ an estimator (Quantity Surveyor).

Responsibility/Duties: Tender recognisance. Ensure timeous acquisition of tender documents. Acquire understanding of the requirements of the project/programme at hand. Reviewing tender documentation for compliance. Developing estimates and bids for construction projects. Preparation of Bills of Quantities. Reviewing sites and gathering information for estimates for work on existing buildings. Rate build up and pricing of bills of quantities. Operating company estimating system to develop bids and estimates. Tender preparation (Building works, Civil works and Specialist works). Ensure timeous tender submission. Taking off quantities from drawings. Establishing cost monitoring, reporting & control measures. Any other relevant duties within the scope of appointment.                                                             

Requirements: Proficient with CCS Candy Software. Minimum 3 years working experience in a similar  or related field. Should have a relevant Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying. Drivers licence is an added advantage. Honesty and trustworthy, Salary, To be disclosed to shortlisted candidates.
