Responsibilities: As a behaviour instructor in class - you will work directly with a group of learners with a range of complex needs (social, emotional and communication), to ensure that barriers to learning are reduced and to support learners to achieve their full potential.

You will support teachers to ensure that all learners engage more effectively with their learning. To be able to demonstrate a range of behaviour management strategies. To be well organised in respect of resources in the class and the general classroom management. To assist children with toilet training, nappy changing and toilet schedule/hand washing. To help during school events and birthday parties.

To ensure the curriculum for the class is implemented in accordance with the lesson plan provided by the Lead Teacher. To be able to adhere to the full daily classroom schedule and to ensure that all activities are completed in a calm and organised manner. To work on a 4:1 child to teacher ratio at all times.

Qualifications Candidate must have: Matriculates Certificate, Psychology Degree, Complete ABA course advantage, 1 year ABA experience advantage. Passion and desire to further their career in the field of specialised education in an AUTISM early childhood development centre/school.

Passion for teaching and desire to move from a 1:1 to a group intervention setting.
