Structural Metal and Platework Fitter-welder (Site installer, Welder)
Terms of Employment: Temporary, Full Time, Overtime, Weekend, Day
Salary: $18.00 to $30.00 Hourly for 60 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Notre-Dame, New Brunswick (8 vacancies )
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Steel Fabrication Trade Certification, Not required
Experience: Experience an asset
Major Work Area: Fabrication, Assembly, Fitting
Area of Specialization: Structural metal or steel, Platework
Welding Techniques: MIG, Plasma ARC
Specific Skills: Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures, Weld or bolt sections together, Construct patterns and templates
Additional Skills: Read blueprints, Instruct apprentices
Security and Safety: Bondable
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Hand-eye co-ordination, Combination of sitting, standing, walking
Work Site Environment: Noisy
