We are currently seeking high caliber Project Engineer candidates. Based in Calgary, you will be working for one of the world’s leading engineering, procurement and construction companies to the Oil, Gas & Petrochemical sector.
 Manage and execute all aspects of the project in accordance with the scope and requirements of the contract
 Assist in the creation and coordination of:
 Overall project plans and schedules, and monitor activities, progress and milestones
 Project man effort estimates and budgets, and monitor progress and cost performance
 Perform basic project engineering functions involving the monitoring of progress, preparation of procedures, documentation of communications and meetings, and identification/evaluation of project issues and problems
 Coordinate preparation and delivery of project deliverables, design documents and bid packages
 Ensure compliance with company safety, quality and business objectives
 Assists in management and coordination of activities among all project functions and engineering disciplines
 Mentor personnel, manage client relationships and implement work sharing opportunities with the company’s international offices around the world
 Provide leadership and establish an execution framework in which the project team feels committed to the success
 Coordinate design efforts with vendors and licensors to assure proper and complete integration
 Prepare project procedures for performance of administrative, project and design tasks in accordance with contractual requirement
 Assist in the creation and monitoring of the project business risk analysis
These positions may require you to work in either Calgary, project locations in Alberta and British Columbia.
Basic Job Requirements:
 University education combined with a minimum of five (5) years of related engineering management experience; preferably in the EPC industry or relating to Oil and Gas.
