General Assistant - Piketberg, West Coast. A well-known fast food franchise in Piketberg is looking for General Assistants to join their team on a permanent basis. Your primary job description is to assist and carry out all operational and administrative instructions from Senior Management.

The objectives of the position will be as follows: to efficiently serve customers, cook & prepare meals and/or effectively perform general duties. Knowledge of stock control, basic numeracy & computer literacy is desirable attributes.

Responsibility: Count the float daily. Work on the till when needed. Assist with the cash-up procedures. Sell products specific to campaigns. Take customers’ orders. Handle transactions and place food orders. Pack away stock. Clean the store. Clean all the equipment. Carry out instructions from management.

Ensure that fridges are always stocked. Switch on all equipment and ensure that it is in good working condition. Prepare and clean the food. Help with the morning preparations for the food. Help to prepare the meals if needed. Occasionally handle and prepare orders.
