Forklift Operator
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day

Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Work Setting: Manufacturing plant, Warehouse, Lumber/forestry industry
Vehicle and Equipment Experience: Strapping machines, Industrial lift trucks and forklifts, Overhead cranes, Towmotors, Reach trucks
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Specific Skills: Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products, Pick orders and stock, Sort goods, Transport and distribute materials and goods, Maintain and organize inventory
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Bending, crouching, kneeling
