Senior Bookkeeper, Hillcrest, West Suburbs. Company Name: Code Red Recruitment. My client in Hillcrest is currently looking of a Senior Bookkeeper.

Key Responsibilities: Maintain monthly client base of 15 – 20 clients. Processing of books up to trial balance from source documents supplied. Compilation of monthly management accounts. Maintenance of fixed asset register (including raising / disposal of fixed assets and passing of depreciation). Reconciliation of intercompany loan accounts. Full understanding of debtors and creditors. Understanding of inventory and foreign currencies advantageous. Preparation of year end supporting documents for compilation of annual financial statements.

Experience / Attributes: Minimum of 4 years within bookkeeping function. Pastel Partner experience essential (if you don’t have this please deem your application to be unsuccessful). Pastel BIC experience advantageous. Quickbooks, Sageone & Xero experience advantageous. Excellent communication skills (verbal & written). Need to be attention to detail driven. Strong time management skills and ability to handle pressure. Need to have the ability to use your own initiative to tackle any problems and see them through to completion. Ability to be able to work independently as well as a team player in order to meet department goals.

Salary on offer is:  R15 000 - R15 500 per month. 20 days annual leave per annum.
