Answer the phones in the office and respond to patient needs or transfer communication to the appropriate party
Process medical bills without any error
Log all incoming payments patients and update internal records to reflect current balances
Send subsequent bills when initial attempts to collect were unsuccessful
Explain charges to patients so they understand the fees for which they are responsible
Other requirements: High school diploma/Bachelor Degree. Medical billing and cash handling experience preferred. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Accurate , and honest. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent customer service skills, both in person and on the phone.
