Greeting guests as they enter and seating guests at tables
Assigning guests to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers
Manage the front desk by receiving incoming calls, greeting and attending to customers
Keep records of guests who visit the restaurant
Providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions and queries
Collaborate with other restaurant staff and the management to ensure that customer complaints are properly attended to in a timely manner
Managing restaurant’s online order system, that includes liaising with 3rd party providers and handle customer inquiries both over the phone and by email
Makes sure delivery orders are handled in a timely matter, with a close communication with the delivery drivers, and makes sure all the necessary items are packed correctly
Communicates with the kitchen staff, and makes sure the order is entered into the POS system correctly
Communicating efficiently with other staff members to ensure the teams work together seamlessly and efficiently
Farewell guests and thank them for visiting as they leave.
