Promote sales and secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach. Demonstrates products to existing and potential customers and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
Prepare and makes telephone calls, in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers, generating call and email lists determine their potential. Generate potential leads and target businesses that could use our products and services. Coordinate sales effort with marketing, sales, accounts and technical. Analyze the various areas potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers’ value.
Plan and organize personal sales strategy by maximizing the GP for the Product within the company parameters. Supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential for new products and services. Product Knowledge and Further Development.
Keep up to date with new products, market conditions, advertising, and promotional trends through the reading of relevant literature and training. Identify advantages and compare organization's products. Be a Team Player Performing any other task, not specified herein, which from time to time may be assigned by the manager. Management and Updating of CRM and Internal systems and reporting Tools. Prepare month end reports and future forecasting based on sales lead generation. Desired Experience and Qualifications Previous experience as an IT Sales Representative or a similar role.
Knowledge of IT systems, hardware and software will be an advantage. Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas. Have a Matric Certificate. Diploma/ Degree in Sales or Marketing will be an advantage. Have a valid drivers’ license & own RELIABLE vehicle. Ability to learn products and services and explain them to clients. Excellent interpersonal & communications skills. Ability to handle rejection. Be bilingual Afrikaans & English. Must live in the Northern Suburbs Western Cape. Ensure Personal hygiene standards are maintained. Ensure you are of sober habits. Have a clear credit and criminal record. Remuneration – R 5000 + Commission + Other Target. Based Incentives. 6 Months Probation
