Permanent Fish shop Supervisor, Midrand, Johannesburg. A well-known grocery store is looking for an experienced and professional Fish Store Supervisor join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate should have a sound knowledge of fresh and frozen seafood and experience in a fresh fish retail environment.
Responsibility: Responsible for managing of inventory levels. Responsible for ordering; receiving; merchandising and stock rotation of inventory. Ensure pricing is market related. Responsible for merchandising fresh fish counter and frozen seafood freezers. Ensure good housekeeping procedures and systems are always maintained. Managing Waste and Shrink.
Requirements: Matric, Experience: Other, English. Sound knowledge of fresh and frozen seafood (Local & Imported). Understanding of fresh fish processing waste and shrink. Experience in a fresh fish retail environment. Ability to supervise staff. High Energy Levels & a Passion for retail essential. Attention to detail. Have strong planning and organisational skills.
Have proven problem-solving techniques. Require minimum supervision. Have strong communication skills. Be able to deliver according to strict deadlines.
