Jonga Montessori is a new Elementary Montessori project starting in Jonga village, Coffee Bay in January 2021. 
The school will accommodate 15 children aged 6 – 12 years.  All the children attending the Elementary school have attended a Montessori preschool in the area for 2 to 3 years. We are looking for a qualified Directress/Guide to lead the way forward with this new, very exciting project!
The ideal candidate needs to: Want to work in a rural area and help bring Montessori to all the children. Have a recognized Montessori qualification for teaching children aged 6 – 12 years (AMI qualification advantageous). Have a minimum of 3 consecutive years of English Montessori teaching experience with children aged 6 – 12 years.
Enjoy nature and rural living. Be enthusiastic and a self-starter. Be responsible and reliable. Have strong knowledge about the Montessori Curriculum for ages 6 -12 years. Have staff management and book keeping skills. Have a valid Driver’s Licence – PDP beneficial. Manage the educational and nutritional needs of the school. Manage the day to day running of the school. Be fluent in English. Be able to start in early January 2021
