Maintenance Technician (Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills)

Must be capable to maintain electronic equipment to include televisions, video-gaming console machines, DJ sound equipment, and other similar devices.

Must be able to perform preventative maintenance and maintain recreational equipment to include foosball tables, ping pong tables, pool tables, and all associated equipment and supplies

Must be able to perform preventative maintenance and maintain facility equipment to include refrigerators, coolers, port-a-cool fans, and popcorn machines.

Must be able to provide personnel that are certified as technicians to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on all Government Fitness Equipment.

Must be able to perform diversified duties to install and maintain machines and facilities equipment

Must have the ability to provide emergency/unscheduled repairs as well as perform scheduled repairs of machines or equipment

Must be capable to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform maintenance request

Must have the capability to diagnose problems, replace or repairs, tests and adjustments.

Must be knowledgeable to perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and facilities

Must be capable to use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties

Should be able to detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision

Must be able to perform a variety of appliance maintenance and carpentry operations

Should be able to comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas

Must have experience supporting a 24/7operational environment

Must be able to follow governmental policies and procedures under supervisory chain of command

Must be fluent in English.
