Job Description
Our client, owner/operators of a modern boutique hotel located in downtown St. John’s, Newfoundland, is looking for a thorough and dependable housekeeper to join their team.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all areas
• Service all bathrooms and corridors
• Keep up to date on current promotions and events to provide the most relevant information to guests, on request, while maximizing bedroom sales opportunities
• Report any security, safety, maintenance issues
• Fulfill all reasonable requests from guest, to ensure their comfort, satisfaction and safety
Qualifications:
• 6 months of housekeeping experience
• Ability to communicate clearly with co-workers and management
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Experience with laundry/ironing considered an asset
